Brightstar Psychiatry is a full-service, multi-disciplinary mental health facility. We are in Bedford, Texas, right in the middle of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We opened our doors here in Texas in 2009. We are dedicated in offering top-notch psychiatric and counseling services to children, adolescents, and families.

At Brightstar, we consider medicine to be a last choice and encourage support therapy to help with the development of healthy coping mechanisms and tools to enhance daily functioning.

Through medication management and therapy, our clients are able to meet their specific needs. To determine whether more intensive care is required for your child, we collaborate closely with neighborhood hospitals and behavioral health facilities and will refer clients who may need that level of care. At Brightstar we provide mental health outpatient services.

Dr. Mohammad Aman specializes in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is also a well-known psychiatrist in the DFW metroplex, and at Brightstar Psychiatry, he uses his vast academic and clinical experience to treat children and adolescents. With nearly two decades of expertise he treats childhood, anxiety disorders, childhood depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, substance use disorders, autistic spectrum disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology has granted Dr. Aman board certification. He has earned his degrees with dedication, hard work, and a great deal of passion for helping children and their families.
